The people + organizations working to create a “Functioning Society”.

Drucker+ is an online hub showcasing the people + organizations who are putting Peter F. Drucker’s ideas & ideals into practice - to help create a “Functioning Society”.

Peter F. Drucker - the father of modern management - believed a ‘functioning society’ requires two main things: providing individuals with opportunities for meaning and purpose, and having legitimate and socially beneficial institutions that coordinate people into productive configurations. He emphasized the importance of organizations serving the common good, viewing organizations (business, government, or non-profit) as existing to serve society, each with unique roles.

We cover a variety of leadership & management subjects all deep-rooted in human insight, creativity, and the belief that all organizations can be a force for good. We aim to be a source of inspiration for those who want their lives and work to have a lasting, positive impact on people around them and on the world.

“Man does not live by economics alone. That which gives him satisfaction and a sense of significance is not his material condition but the fulfillment of his role in society and the recognition of his human dignity.”

Peter F. Drucker
